As of April 10, 2018 … Here is latest status of the Hobby Shop
We lost our Brick & Mortar, Historic Downtown Greenville Hobby Shop. I have moved, the Hobby Shop to My 3 acres of land on highway 34 in Cash, Texas. I plan on opening a Railroad Museum, a miniature steam engine manufacturing & gift shop. In the future there will also be a miniature railroad running around the property. Now all this does take money so, the on-line store is the key too this project. I will have R/C cars, Tanks, Ships & Planes. I also have vehicle Lighting products, Stereos, Speakers, Amps, Train Horns, CB’s & 10 meter Base stations. Plus all wiring and hookup needed. there really are too many products to list here, call & ask if I can procure a product for you, discounts are available … Below is a photo of the new place … This is when the building was moved in, some improvements have been made.
I’m also doing the train layout for the New Hobby Shop, Below are some photos of the train layout, for the shop, the second Photo is 1/4 of the table it will be 6′ wide at the ends & 4 foot wide in the middle, will be Hour glass shaped & 12 foot over all.
I’m also getting ready, For the Jefferson Train Days, Show, I belong to the Texas Outlaws On30 Train Club, We enjoy doing the Narrow Gauge layouts, and Our modules are getting better all the time … Below is Terry’s Hungry Dawg Café module …
And below is My swamp Module … depicts our Pres … Contemplating, pulling the plug … this one has animated Gators … Currently I’m working on a better animation mechanism …
The module count for this show will be 39 … 2′ X 4′ modules so about 160 feet of railroad … Come to the show and enjoy a weekend in Jefferson Texas. The show will be May 19 & 20, 2018 …. lots to do!
I’m working on the new web site … the Hobby Shop is changing names. The New name will be Whistle-Stop Hobby Depot. Finally there will be a working shopping cart … the Greenville Hobby Depot web sight will be Closed down … and moved to My new web site … That is all I’m a very busy man now so there is lots to do … and I’m going to Get – R – Done … !
Cheers !!! Gerry S.
